MEET DR. KIM NGUYEN

Dr. Kim Nguyen earned her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she was inducted into the National Osteopathic Honor Society in recognition of her academic achievement. She completed her surgical residency training at New York Presbyterian Queens and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Following residency, Dr. Nguyen served as a general surgeon in the United States Navy, where she provided surgical care to active-duty service members, military families, wounded warriors, and retirees. Her military career included direct medical support for Marine Expeditionary Forces in Japan and throughout the Pacific region, as well as service as Ship's Surgeon aboard the USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier.

Today, Dr. Nguyen is in private practice in the Las Vegas area, where she has served the community for nearly a decade. In addition to caring for patients, she is actively involved in surgical education through the Valley Health Graduate Medical Education Program, helping train the next generation of surgeons.  Known for her dedication, compassion, and commitment to surgical excellence, Dr. Nguyen remains passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of surgery through mentorship and service
